Donuts With Dad

Today Celeste's preschool is throwing a Donuts with Dad's day. She has been working on a "secret" poem which she will get to share with her Daddy today. I know she is very excited to have her Daddy be at school with her. The students were supposed to wear a tie in honor of having their Dad's come, and so we made a little headband for Celeste to wear in her hair. Gotta keep it girlie!! Yep, she is a Daddy's gal alright! I also have to mention that the red tulips on the table were bought for me "by" Celeste. Ever since she received and gave so many Valentines, she started insisting that she was going to get ME something for Valentine's Day. She kept insisting this over and over, and kept asking her Daddy to take her to the store. We all ended up going to WalMart together last night to get some shopping in, and these tulips were at the entrance now on clearance. Celeste picked them up and promptly gave them to me and said, "Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy! These are for you." She was beaming. So.was.I. It was too sweet! So, yeah, she loves her Mommy too! Of course we bought them and put them on display!
