Each week after all of the ads arrive, I sit down with post it notes and a pen- usually when the kids are at nap/rest time. I also like to grab myself a cup of coffee or a Diet Coke and turn on the TV. :) I look through each paper writing down the deals that are worth price matching. I then stick the post it note to the front of the add. This has been the fastest and easiest method for me...especially when it comes to checking out in the line at the grocery store. I just put down an add on the belt, and then stack all of the items listed on the post it note together near that add. This prevents the time consuming job of jumping from add to add trying to find the price match to show the cashier. :) Yuck. This does mean that I do my shopping at Wal-Mart, so fortunately, I am not a "picky buyer." I do LOVE the regular grocery store, but I simply cannot justify it when I can save so much by shopping at Wally World while our budget is tight!
And, here is my regular deal on boneless, skinless chicken breasts (no coupons, remember!)..here is a picture! I got these two packs of boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.00 a pound. Also, I got a boneless bottom round roast for $2.49 a pound, but didn't take a picture of that one.
