Part of the reason it took me so long to enroll her was because I wanted to research before placing her. Well, that takes time and it isn't something I have a lot of these days! I wanted a place that was going to do more than teach her a recital piece and then call her a dancer. I wanted to have a lot of BANG for my buck, and a small class size so she could get a lot of one on one instruction. I was able to find a place just like that, hooray!
As I observed today, I saw that they practiced the five basic positions, did some plie work on the bar, and started learning to leap. I think if she masters THOSE things in this first semester I will consider it well worth it! All this to say, I am very, very pleased with this pick for a studio.
And now, I will force her to practice every day until her toes bleed and live vicariously through my daughter.
Okay, maybe not that first bit. :-)
I know she must be so excited! She is just adorable in her little outfit! :o) I know what you mean about bang for your buck...Sara gets FREE violin lessons from the school if we pay for the rental of the violin. We signed right up...lol. Can you blame us? Anyway, I am excited you found a great studio and that you are able to live vicariously through Celeste. ;o)
