Canning for Fun


Before December I'd like to:

Make some homemade apple butter
bake a few pies

start a friendship bread

I love baking and cooking! I would love to pick up canning as well as it doesn't seem terribly difficult. And, it looks like it could be cost effective too! Especially if I reuse the jars.

    Actually, buying the fruit is pretty expensive so I'm not sure it's that cost effective but it is fun, easy and delicious so it's worth it for that. If you grew your own produce it'd be cost effective. Go for it though. I made strawberry and peach jam and they were both great!
